FAQS

DIDN'T RECEIVE YOUR TICKETS OR A REPLY FROM US?

If you haven’t received your tickets or haven’t heard back from our team yet, it might be because of your email provider.

We’ve noticed that iCloud addresses (ending in @icloud.com or @me.com) sometimes filter or block our messages — including booking confirmations and replies from our customer team.

If you’re using one of these domains and still haven’t received anything, here’s what to do:

✅ Check your spam or junk folder — sometimes our emails sneak in there.
📧 Try contacting us again using a different email address (like Gmail, Outlook, or Yahoo) so we can reply without issues.
💡 If you’ve already emailed us from an iCloud address, please resend your message from your new email so we can match your booking and get back to you ASAP.

We’re not ghosting you (promise!) — sometimes the tech gremlins just get in the way.

First in, best dressed! It's a first-come, first-serve situation.

If you've booked more than one (1) bed, the first to arrive must communicate with the staff to see if the bed next to your chosen one can be reserved.

If you're all arriving at the same time, you can just pick beds that are right next to each other. No one needs to break up for the night, but we do recommend you arrive early to make sure you get spots next to each other. You can claim your bed, leave the premises to take a stroll around the promenade, then come back closer to the movie time.

If you’re booking a sand ticket, it’s straightforward—one ticket covers one person’s entry. If you’re booking a bed, you only need to purchase ONE (1) bed ticket per group, not one ticket per person. Each bed ticket already includes admission for 2 or 3 people, depending on the bed type. No need to double up unless you're bringing extra friends! To help you decide which option is best, here’s a breakdown of ticket types:
* Sunset sand Ticket : $18 per person - One ticket per person required
*Comfort Bed for 2: $89 per bed - Covers 2 people

*Comfort Bed for 3: $119 per bed - Covers 3 people

*My Dog & Me for 2: $99 per bed (including 1 x dog bed)

*My Dog & Me for 3: $129 per bed (including 1 x dog bed)

*VIP Class Bed for 2: $150 per bed - Covers 2 people

*VIP Class Bed for 3: $225 per bed - Covers 3 people

Quick Tips:
* You do not need to buy two beds for two people - just one bed for 2!
* Sand tickets are per person and don't include seating (you can rent a chair or BYO towel).
* Bed tickets are per bed, and each bed ticket already includes the correct number of admissions.

the Cinema is located in Barangaroo Sydney - Entry via Wulugul Walk, right by the water.

Entry starts at 6:00 PM, and films kick off at 8:15 PM. You’re welcome to claim your bed, step out for dinner, and return before the movie starts.

Sorry, it’s a strict no BYO policy — but don’t worry, we’ve got an amazing menu of food and drinks that can be delivered straight to your bed.

Yes! Dog Nights are one of Mov’In Bed’s favourites. You can book a My Dog & Me Class Bed, which includes a bed for your furry friend, or upgrade to a VIP Bed with a $10 dog bed add-on, as dogs aren’t allowed directly on the main beds.

Great question — thanks for asking! The short answer? We welcome movie-lovers of all ages! 🌟
That said, we do recommend checking the film’s age rating before booking — because as much as we love a good plot twist, we’d hate for any scenes to surprise our youngest viewers.
🎟️ Kids under 6 enter for free! If it’s just you and your mini movie buff and you’d still like the full bed setup, the minimum ticket price is $89 (even if your co-star is under 6).

Nope! Mov’In Bed gift cards don’t have an expiry date — they’re valid until the full balance is used. Any leftover balance can also be used on food and drinks inside the cinema.

For reference, a Standard Bed for 2 is $89. Prices for the upcoming season may change slightly, but a gift card of around $100 will comfortably cover two people.

We don’t currently offer discounts for bulk ticket purchases. However, for corporate events or group bookings, we’d love to explore options with you. Please let us know your estimated group size and preferred date, and we’ll see what we can arrange.

If your movie is cancelled due to weather or technical issues, you’re covered under our Terms & Conditions (Section 9.1.3). You’ll receive a voucher for the same ticket type redeemable for another session during that same season.

While we love a good spontaneous adventure, walk-ins are a bit of a wildcard. We mostly take online bookings to avoid over-crowding — nobody likes a sold-out sequel they didn’t see coming!

Here’s what we can do:
🔊 Turn up the volume for clearer audio.
🔗 Connect a Bluetooth speaker (yours or ours) directly to your bed’s audio.
🎧 Many hearing aids can be worn under our noise-cancelling headsets too!
If you’d like to use a Bluetooth speaker and don’t have one handy, let us know your session details and we’ll try to have one ready for you.

We’re committed to making the experience as comfortable as possible for all guests.

Wheelchair Accessibility – Ramps are available on-site for easier access. We also have VIP Beds and standard beds located next to the ramps. For General Admission, you’re welcome to bring a low chair (beach-style) or rent one from us on-site.

Discounts – While we don’t currently offer a specific discount for guests with disabilities, Companion Card holders can contact us before booking so we can coordinate a suitable arrangement with our team.

If you have any other accessibility needs, please reach out — we’ll do our best to accommodate.

Here are your best options nearby:
🅿️ Barangaroo Reserve Car Park – Think of it as the Batcave of parking, tucked underground at 189 Kent St, Sydney NSW 2000. Special after-hours pricing applies.
🅿️ Secure Parking – King Street Wharf Car Park 1 – Located at Shelley St, Sydney NSW 2000. Close to everything and perfect for a post-credits stroll.
Both have separate fees — a little like that plot twist you didn’t see coming, but totally worth it!

You can absolutely book from overseas. When prompted for an address, just pop in the Sydney address where you’ll be staying. Don’t worry, we’re not posting anything — it’s just for our records.
